Yes, there is more to the Hunter Valley than wine; there are plenty of activities to keep the kids entertained as well!

1. Hunter Valley Gardens

The Storybook Garden is the perfect place to start your Hunter Valley adventure with the family. Your little ones can act out their favourite fairytales, including sitting at the Mad Hatters table. Did you know guests of the Mercure receive a 50% discount on tickets?

Also, throughout the year there are many fabulous events within the garden. Here are just a couple-

Snowtime -

Winter fun with an ice skating rink, ice toboggan and build a snowman in the man-made Snow Play Zone!

Christmas Lights Spectacular -

Millions of Christmas lights throughout the gardens will dazzle the whole family, also includes Santa photos and children’s entertainment.

Mega Creatures -

An amazing display of giant bugs and dinosaurs including the infamous 8 metre T-rex, giant Triceratops, towering tarantula, mega-sized snail and much more.
